Kiwanis helps kids around the world. Local clubs, like ours, look out for our communities and the international organization takes on large-scale challenges, such as fighting disease and poverty.

We are passionate about making a difference. Helping kids grow and succeed is at the heart of everything we do. But how we do it is just as important. We believe our neighborhoods and our world are best served when people of all ages and different backgrounds work together to share their time and talents.

Becoming a part of Kiwanis is simple! Submit a Membership Inquiry here. We’d love to have you join one of our meetings to learn more about the club and our impact. We meet Thursdays, over lunch, at noon at Filippa’s in Shelby Twp. Or check our calendar for upcoming events and projects.

We host fundraisers throughout the year, like our TopGolf event in the spring, selling raffle tickets to coveted experiences (like the NCAA Tournament), and our annual Golf Outing.

Our club members have helped:

  • Families in need around the holiday with gifts and nutritious food
  • Children learn to read
  • Build wheelchair ramps
  • Raise awareness around mental health
  • Support organizations like: Embracing Imperfections, Friends of Foster Kids, Blessings in a Backpack, and Kids on the Go!
